Part I Architectural Assistant
BA (Hons)
Sam joined Holloway in 2024 after graduating from the University of Sheffield. While at Sheffield, Sam volunteered with his course-mates to create a community garden in the Scraith Wood DriveĀ Estate that transformed a disused plot into a flourishing green space with benches and planters built from reclaimed materials on site.
Sam is particularly drawn to retrofitting historic structures, believing that thoughtful reuse can breathe new life into architecture and is essential for reducing the field’s environmental impact. Working alongside Tim in the London Studio, Sam now contributes to a range of residential and civic projects, particularly enjoying adapting existing buildings for future use.
Outside of work, Sam is an avid footballer, runner, and gym-goer, having completed half marathons and the UK Three Peaks Challenge for charity. A fan of live music, Sam enjoys spending time with friends.
