Howard joined Hollaway Studio in 2018 after gaining experience working in London, and became Associate to the Practice in 2021. He completed his Undergraduate and Masters Education at University of Kent and his Part 3 at University of Westminster in 2016.
At Hollaway Studio, Howard has worked on a number of schemes, including Deer House – a Paragraph 84 house with exceptional architectural merit in an AONB, and the construction of a complex extension at Vicarage Farm – a well-proportioned, early Victorian period, country house with 8 acres of grounds and outbuildings.
Current projects include; a large glass extension with 6 metre high pivot doors to a grade II Listed manor house, and the conversion of a 19th century equine stud farm into a dwelling. As well as the architecture side, he is helping to develop a range of bespoke items of furniture, including tables, dining chairs and bar stools.
Away from architecture, Howard has one cat, two dogs and two miniature donkeys, as well two children. When not feeding them carrots, he is drinking wine and/or coffee and is a devoted sportsman of average ability.
