Part II Architectural Assistant
BA (Hons) MArch
Freya first joined Hollaway London Studio in 2019 and has since completed her MArch course with a distinction at the University of Westminster in 2023. She is currently enrolled in RIBA Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture (Part 3) at the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Research into history, individuals and their personal stories is what drives much of Freya’s passion for architecture, with her most recent study project following the dramatic and emotive lives previously lived in an abandoned Masseria in Puglia, Italy.
Freya now supports Mark in London Studio 2 and during her time at the practice has worked on a varied scale of projects from bespoke one-off houses to large masterplan developments. Most recently, Freya has been a part of the submission of the London Golf Club, proposing a 240-bed hotel, 80 lodges, tennis pavilion, driving range, clubhouse, Sports turf academy, and the refurbishment of Grade II* listed Manor House and ancillary buildings into a wedding venue.
Outside of architecture Freya can be found running and cycling, trying to keep up with her brothers on the racetrack or away in her Type 2 VW Campervan ‘Grub’.
