We have successfully obtained, under delegated powers, the approval of planning permission for the ‘Horses Corner’ Hotel in Margate – a seven-storey, 117 bed boutique hotel, benefitting from spectacular seafront views.
Guy Hollaway says: “The proposal for the Horses Corner site responds to the increased demand and short supply of hotel rooms, which has been identified since the opening of the Turner Contemporary and the recent rejuvenation of Dreamland, both of which have given Margate a new sense of place and identity in the midst of the town’s revival, and have raised visitor numbers.’
The hotel accommodates a designated drop-off bay for coaches, taxi’s and cars, and basement guest parking for 16 vehicles, and will provide much needed new hotel rooms all within walking distance of Margate’s thriving Old Town.
