Mark joined Hollaway in 2013 and became an Associate of the Practice in 2016; he plays a pivotal role in the running of the London Studio.
Mark is involved in projects of all shapes and sizes, from realising a client’s dream home to mixed-use regeneration proposals. Working closely with local authorities, clients, and consultants, he has recently achieved planning consents for some of our most notable projects, including a residential marina development at the Sydenham’s Timberyard site, in Poole and the redevelopment of the Kent Wool Growers site, in Ashford.
With a number of projects involving listed buildings in his portfolio, Mark also enjoys working closely with Historic England, to ensure our schemes are developed sensitively and incorporate references to the past wherever we can. These skills were put to the test when delivering a complete restoration of the World’s only listed timber rollercoaster as part of our reinvention of the Dreamland Heritage Park in Margate.
Having recently switched London life for a derelict house in Berkshire, outside of the office Mark can be found up to his eyes in dust as he puts his skills to practical use in restoring his own home.
